Yossi & Jagger - National Distribution Yossi & Jagger will be distributed nationally on commercial screenings starting October 10th.
After the successful premier in Jerusalem International Film Festival in last July, where he won the Honorable Mention, and sporadic screenings in Tel-Aviv Cinematheque, the success of Yossi & Jagger was immediate and unexpected.
Starting from the first night at the Cinematheque, Yossi & Jagger has been a breakthrough success at the Tel-Aviv Cinematheque for two months now on daily basis, and still all the tickets are sold out, almost every night.
Due to numerous requests, the film will be distributed nationally in theatres all over the country, and later on, around the world. The movie, shot in Digital Video, will be transferred to 35mm.
Yossi & Jagger deals with the relationships between Yossi & Jagger the officers, which are kept very discreetly. But the secret affects the other soldiers in the outpost in roundabout ways, and disrupts their lives.
These days the title track song "Your Soul" by Ivri Lider, that was released to the radio, is the first on the radio stations' play-list, and soon will be available at record shops as a single.
Yossi & Jagger will be shown during all of October, Sunday to Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays at 7 pm and at midnight, Fridays at midnight, and Saturdays at 3 pm and 4:15 pm.
Yossi & Jagger will be broadcasted on TV as a part of Rishon Badrama - ICP's Original Israeli Creation strip - at the end of November.
